“This Is That Night” is the story of Kris and Jon’s fourth date: an intimate home-cooked brunch. Kris preps the pancakes, Jon brings the champagne, and they end up talking and laughing all day. As night sets in, Kris points out that this is beginning to feel like one of those nights in an early relationship when a couple stays up all night talking. This innocuous, romantic comment feels overconfident, breaking the mood and bringing everything to a halt.
