A driver, an alcoholic, has been driving aimlessly for weeks in the desert. She hits something on a remote road…. Is it human or animal? Did it die? Instead of checking, she flees the scene. Someone sees her, a young Hitchhiker who’s been wandering these desert roads for years. The Hitchhiker blackmails the Driver into giving her a ride to the sea – and thus begins the odyssey of two troubled women on the run through a deserted land as broken, as parched and as in need of redemption, as they are.
