“Talk to Me” is a short film about a troubled Father and his fractured relationship with his son, Cameron. Both of them have become more and more distant from each other ever since the death of the Mother almost a full year ago. “Talk to Me” picks up in the middle of what seems as an average night for the family of two, until the Father notices Cameron’s grades arrive in the mail. Once brought up, an argument ensues resulting in the Father confiscating Cameron’s phone and Cameron baffled by his fathers transparency. Both go there separate ways. The Father, however, receives a phone call on Cameron’s cellphone, hesitantly picks up, revealing it to be a suicidal girl calling for help. The Father must then delve deep within himself to find the answers in order to save this girl, ultimately changing his life forever.
