Festival Passes are available by clicking HERE. Passes are $375 and grant access to all films and events.

ADMISSION POLICY

Festival Passholders are guaranteed admission up to 10 minutes prior to scheduled screening. Advance individual tickets must be picked up 10 minutes prior to schduled screening. Remaining tickets will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis.

lisa beachLisa Beach began working as an assistant casting director under David Rubin. After two years with Rubin, Lisa went off on her own to cast the movies BAD INFLUENCE and SCHOOL TIES among others. From there, she took a Studio job as Director of Casting at Hollywood Pictures, which lead to her next role as Head of Casting at HBO. Among the pictures on which she oversaw the Casting was the critically acclaimed AND THE BAND PLAYED ON. Lisa has been an independent Casting Director, involved in both Features and TV. She and her business partner of the past 12 years, Sarah Katzman have cast over 50 projects, including the SCREAM series, GIRL, INTERRUPTED for which Angelina Jolie won an Oscar, WALK THE LINE for which Reese Witherspoon won an Oscar, WEDDING CRASHERS, Alexander Payne’s ABOUT SCHMIDT and HORRIBLE BOSSES, WOLVERINE and WE’RE THE MILLERS.

 

Valerie McCaffrey is an independent casting director, producer, writer and director. She recently completed casting the feature film “Running with the Devil” which starred Nicholas Cage, Laurence Fishburne, Barry Pepper, Adam Goldberg, Cole Hauser, Leslie Bibb and Clifton Collin, Jr.  Some of her career highlights include casting Ellen Page in Hard Candy which was her first film in America.  From April 1994-2000, Valerie held the position of Vice President of Feature Film Casting for New Line/Fine Line Films. She cast Edward Norton and Eddie Furlong in AMERICAN HISTORY X.  Ed Norton received an Oscar nomination for Best Actor, and his performance was heralded as the best of his career.  From 1985-94 se was a casting executive at Universal Studios, where she cast James Cromwell in BABE, earning him an Oscar Nomination.  To date she has cast over 100 films.   Valerie recently directed the short film “Dirty Bomb” which premiered at both the Cannes Film Festival and Madrid, and has its N. American Premiere at Dances With Films.

David Rubin began his career as a production assistant on “Saturday Night Live”. He began working in casting with Mary Goldberg on such films as RAGTIME and AMADEUS. David then moved to Los Angeles to team with veteran casting director Lynn Stalmaster on THE NAME OF THE ROSE, THE BIG EASY and many other films. Opening his own casting company, David was responsible for assembling the casts of such films as: THE FIRM, ROMEO + JULIET, THE ENGLISH PATIENT, MEN IN BLACK, and THE TALENTED MR. RIPLEY. In partnership with Richard Hicks, David cast the films HAIRSPRAY, LARS AND THE REAL GIRL, RECOUNT, THE SMURFS and GAME CHANGE. Recently, David worked with director Jean-Marc Vallee, casting his film WILD for Fox Searchlight, and with Jay Roach on TRUMBO.

 

Gayle Pillsbury is a partner in Zane/Pillsbury Casting located in Los Angeles.  They have done for the casting for shows such as Pretty Little Liars, The District and V. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Film from USC. After graduating, Gayle started as an assistant to casting director Peg Halligan and then worked as an assistant for Leslie Litt and Steven O’Neill at NBC Casting. She followed this by working for Meg Liberman and Marc Hirschfeld at Liberman/Hirschfeld Casting where she met her current business partner, Bonnie Zane. Following Liberman/Hirschfeld Casting she was hired as the head of talent and casting at Imagine Television where she oversaw the casting of many shows including Felicity, Sports Night, Wonderland and 24. She lives with her husband and 3 children in Echo Park.
