Festival Passes are available by clicking HERE. Passes are $375 and grant access to all films and events.

ADMISSION POLICY

Festival Passholders are guaranteed admission up to 10 minutes prior to scheduled screening. Advance individual tickets must be picked up 10 minutes prior to schduled screening. Remaining tickets will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis.

Jennifer Berman –  Senior VP Acquisitions & Co-productions Roadside Attractions where she spearheads the acquisition, development and production of feature film projects, both as finished films and at script stage.  She began her career in 1994 at Miramax Films in New York, working her way up from an assistant to senior vp production during her 11 years at the studio. She was an executive producer on Chicago and Shall We Dance. She also founded a theater division with Harvey Weinstein and managed Weinstein’s involvement in Broadway and West End Theater, which included productions such as Mel Brooks’ The ProducersSam Mendes’ Gypsy and Baz Luhrmann’s La Boheme. After relocating to Los Angeles in 2004, she produced the first three seasons of Miramax and Bravo’s Project Runway.

 

 

Mark Borde has been in the motion picture distribution business for over forty years. His reputation as one of the foremost independent motion picture distributors began with his work in a family distribution company started in 1972. He co-founded Freestyle Releasing, where he served as Co-President and CEO until 2015. The company was the 11th highest grossing distribution company (domestic box office) in 2014. In October 2015, Freestyle Releasing was acquired by Entertainment Studios, and Mr. Borde now serves as the President of Theatrical Distribution for Entertainment Studios Motion Pictures. He has a presence at all major national and international film festivals and markets, and he has maintained quality professional and personal relationships with all of the major studios and independent acquisitions executives, producer’s representatives, artist’s agents, and foreign distributors. In addition to a successful career in film distribution, he has also produced 9 successful feature films. He is the executive producer of 47 Meters DownHurricane HeistChappaquiddickHostilesLove Stinks, and and the co-producer of Trois 2. Mr. Borde is a full voting member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in the Producer’s Branch. He is also a guest lecturer at UCLA Film School and USC Film School, along with a number of industry panels and industry engagements.

Alan Gasmer is an Executive Producer of the award-winning History Channel series Vikings, now in its fifth season. As a principal in the entertainment management company Alan Gasmer & Friends and the newly formed Veritas Entertainment Group, Gasmer executive produces You Me Her, the DirecTV comedy that’s going into its third season. He currently has Fahrenheit 451 shooting for HBO and Crash & Burn shooting for Hulu.

His company’s production arm has many projects in development at broadcast, cable, and digital networks and also for the stage. Among them are Ray Bradbury’s The Martian Chronicles, Tana French’s Dublin Murder Squad at TNT and BBC, The Distributorwith Allen Coulter directing, and Elvis, a four hour documentary at HBO in addition to many other projects setup in various stages. Alan is also producing the feature remake of Cannonball Run at Warner Brothers, Barnes starring Jeff Bridges, and Brilliant with Morgan Freeman as well The Honeymooner’s at the Paper mill Theater. In 2017, former CAA and Paradigm literary agent, Bob Bookman formed a joint venture with Gasmer and Peter Jaysen called Veritas Entertainment Group to adapt intellectual properties from his long list of clients including John Irving and Michael Crichton into film and television projects. Together, the three of them recently sold Hotel Honolulu based off the well-known book by Paul Theroux to Fox as well as The Mosquito Coast to Fremantle and All the Shah’s Men to Amazon.

In addition, his company represents many well-known television and motion picture writers and represents several libraries of intellectual property.

Before opening his own firm, Gasmer was a highly regarded William Morris film agent, described in Vanity Fair as “the King of Specs” for his part in creating and supplying the spec screenplay marketplace. As such, he was responsible for bringing many feature films to fruition including Rush HourSoul FoodCowboys & AliensMousehunt, and Empire Records. In his 24 years at the powerhouse agency, Gasmer rose from the mailroom to head the Motion Picture Literary Department representing writers and directors of major motion pictures and Broadway musicals including Jersey Boys and The Addams Family.

A well-respected member of the Hollywood community, Gasmer is known as a man of his word — and of discerning literary taste. He is a member of AMPAS (Motion Picture Academy), BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television), HRTS (Hollywood Radio and Television Society) and a participant at the Banff World Media Festival. He loves ice hockey and classic rock. A native of Philadelphia, Gasmer resides in Los Angeles, where he roots for The Kings except when they are playing The Flyers.
