ONE TRUE LOVES is about a girl growing up and experiencing love-sickness throughout the 2000s and how the vastly changing internet-verse sculpted a generation’s perspective on love. It is the retelling of every “one true love” that our heroine Lydia meets between ages 11 to 28. The series features everything from breakups on AOL Instant Messenger to flirty texts sent via flip phone. At its core, this is a story about the ups and downs of young love told through an honest and heartfelt narration –– from her first kiss, to a bus stop infatuation, to realizing “the one” isn’t so spectacular after all.
