DWF is thrilled to announce the 5th Edition of DANCES WITH KIDZ!, presenting the most creatively inspired, kid and family focused films on the indie circuit.
The independent film scene has had a dramatic impact on mainstream entertainment for nearly two decades. The children and family film market is arguably one of the most profitable realms of the film industry and yet there are relatively few independent venues championing family friendly films.
We are changing all that as we bring on and introduce the next generation of media visionaries! Running concurrently with the “big fest,” DANCES WITH KIDZ! will rock the Chinese on the 2nd weekend of DWF!!!
SO WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Primarily we are looking for films that are appropriate for kids of all ages. Films should be free of any excessive or gratuitous profanity, nudity or violence and must not advocate or promote any type of racial, cultural, religious or gender bias. While PG type films will be considered (for certain categories), we are primarily seeking films that appeal (or at least are viewable) to the entire family.
