“Godspeed and Guns” is a rockabilly psycho-thriller inspired by the unbreakable camaraderie of “Thelma & Louise” and the urban-meets-western genre-blending of Quentin Tarantino’s “Kill Bill.” Christina Rubino and her loving sister, Dolores, venture on a dangerous road trip that proves to be overrun with violent men. Christina’s alluring voice assures that she and Dolores are the danger, as they kill every rapist and abusive man they encounter. Dolores’ mental disconnect expands when the police find the pickled heads of their victims. They are imprisoned in an insane asylum that tears at their sisterhood until Dolores is completely unhinged. Inside Dolores’ disturbed mind reveals Christina is a schizophrenic hallucination that she created during her abusive childhood.
