Make A Film Foundation grants film wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses by teaming them with noted actors, writers and directors. “The Black Ghiandola” is a zombie film envisioned by 16 year old Anthony Conti who had stage 4 Cancer. In it he plays the hero who gives his life to save a girl he has become fond of after his parents are killed during a zombie apocalypse.

DWF alum Tamika Lamison founded the MAKE A FILM FOUNDATION – granting film wishes to children with serious or life-threatening medical conditions, helping them to create short film legacies by teaming them with noted actors, directors, and writers. We believe the art of filmmaking is not only healing and therapeutic but also offers hope and builds self-esteem.
