The year is 1999, and Monie Wills has escaped the chaos of the city and a toxic relationship to go solo camping in the remote forests of Maine. But after her first night alone in the woods, a picture appears on her brand-new digital camera of herself, asleep in her tent. Lost and terrified, she descends into self-doubt and madness as the camera begins to depict not only what has happened, but what will happen to her.
