John Tomko is a veteran media and entertainment executive who joined Evoke Entertainment in 2020 as a manager/producer to represent writers, directors, and personalities. John has packaged, sold, and produced several feature films including “The Perfect Date” (Netflix), “Sextuplet” (Netflix), and the Roland Emmerich feature “Midway” (AGC/Lionsgate). On the TV side, John represents clients including Deirdre Shaw (“Hulu’s “Tiny Beautiful Things”), Jim Campolongo (“High Potential”), Barbara Friend (“Fire Country”), Vincent Angell (“The Rookie”), Alec Wells (“Chicago Fire”), and Meagan Daine (“Alex Cross”). His clients have created shows in development at Hulu, CBS, UTV, HBO, TNT, WBTBV, and Starz, and numerous other clients are currently on the staffs of broadcast, cable, and streaming shows. John has also sold several books for publication: “Love in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction”, by client Judd Trichter, the home improvement books “Bee Cottage” and “The Handbuilt Home”, the humor/advice book “Life is a 4-Letter Word” by David Levy, and the food/travel book “Fed, White, and Blue” by Simon Majumdar. John has served as a consultant to corporations and personalities regarding brand management with an emphasis on social media and cross-platform marketing. Previously, John had a successful career in feature film production and development. He developed and produced the move “Falling Down” for Warner Bros and ran Jerry Weintraub Productions where he developed and oversaw three movies for the company including “Ocean’s 11”. A graduate of Yale University and Harvard Business School, John lives in Sherman Oaks, CA, with his dog, Tucker.
Ryan Lewis has produced more than a dozen feature films, served as co-creator/executive producer of an internationally award-winning television series, and developed numerous projects that have sold to buyers across the marketplace. His comedy feature HIGH SCHOOL premiered at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival. His book-to-film adaptation FAT KID RULES THE WORLD won the Audience Award at the 2012 SXSW Film Festival, and THE BALLAD OF LEFTY BROWN sold to A24/DirecTV at 2017 SXSW. His award-winning series CHOSEN was sold internationally by Sony Pictures TV. He also produced the hit comedy NAKED for Netflix, THE BOY BEHIND THE DOOR, one of the best-reviewed movies of 2021 with 97% on Rottentomatoes.com, and executive produced 5,000 BLANKETS, a feature film for Sony’s Affirm label starring Anna Camp based on an inspirational true story. His film BULLS had a theatrical release in January, and he’s in post-production on GOODBYE GIRL for Amazon starring Kiernan Shipka and Cole Sprouse. Ryan is currently a producer and manager with Zero Gravity Management (Ozark, The Accountant).
ROBERT MUNIC
Robert is an Emmy® and DGA award nominated writer, director and producer. He recently created and was Showrunner for Starz highest rated series in history, POWERBOOK IV: FORCE. Munic also served as Showrunner/Creator for A&E’s The Cleaner starring Benjamin Bratt, Direct TV’s ICE starring Ray Winstone and BET’s anthology series TALES. Other EP credits include: Fox’s Gang Related, Empire & Star as well as Vital Signs which he wrote and Executive Produced with Dr. Dre starring Michael Kenneth Williams, Ian McShane, Dr. Dre & Sam Rockwell for Apple TV. He is currently writing/EP’ing Canaryville for FX, Chasing Ghosts for MGM, American Mercenary for Amazon and prepping his
On the feature side, Munic wrote Fighting starring Channing Tatum, Run Like Hell for MGM and Vision Quest for Warner Brothers. He is currently adapting the YA novel Nowhere But Here for Voltage Pictures. Munic served as writer, director, and producer on Showtime’s They Call Me Sirr, starring Michael Clarke Duncan, which was nominated for an Emmy® and DGA Award – as well as Showtime’s In a Class of His Own. Munic received an Emmy® nomination for writing the movie and won the Excellence in a Television Film award from the National Television Review Board. He and his wife Ingrid Rogers own and operate Pull The Pin Productions, Inc. where they have a slate of over a dozen projects in development.
Adam Starks is currently a writer and Co-EP on Netflix’s LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE. His journey in Los Angeles began by working in development and production at Starz before getting his first staffing job on Netflix’s ON MY BLOCK, where he worked on all four seasons, plus its spin-off. Outside of the Netflix umbrella, he has worked on shows such as Peacock’s VAMPIRE ACADEMY, HBO’s PRETTY LITTLE LIARS, TNT’s SNOWPIERCER, Apple’s HOME BEFORE DARK, Amazon’s THE TICK, and Freeform’s GOOD TROUBLE. He has also had the opportunity to develop shows for Starz, Netflix, Fox, and Peacock.
