Set in a storm-battered cabin, “Staircase Stomp” is a stop-motion music video by punk/new wave band The Clamor that explores themes of identity, inner conflict, and self-reckoning. A lone man is haunted by a mysterious female figure whose presence blurs the boundary between psychological tension and supernatural intrusion. As reality begins to unravel, the cabin becomes a stage for a surreal descent into fractured memory and emotional collapse. Blending horror aesthetics with handmade animation, the video distorts time and space to reflect a mind at odds with itself and a past that refuses to stay buried.​​
