Festival Passes are available by clicking HERE. Passes are $375 and grant access to all films and events.

ADMISSION POLICY

Festival Passholders are guaranteed admission up to 10 minutes prior to scheduled screening. Advance individual tickets must be picked up 10 minutes prior to scheduled screening. Remaining tickets will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis.

Daniel Adams 

Daniel Adams grew up in Boston and originally worked in politics after college. He also garnered valuable film production experience directing television commercials for a Boston advertising agency. He then co-wrote (w/Michael Mailer) and directed his first feature film in 1989, “A Fool and His Money” which starred Sandra Bullock, Jonathan Penner, George Plimpton, and Jerzy Kosinski, released through Trimark Pictures (now Lions Gate). He then went on to write and direct his second feature, the critically acclaimed “Primary Motive,” for Twentieth Century Fox which starred Judd Nelson, Justine Bateman, Richard Jordan, John Savage, and Sally Kirkland, produced by Don Carmody. His third feature, which he also wrote and directed, a comedy en6tled, “The Mouse,” starring Rip Torn and John Savage, released through Strand Releasing, also received posi6ve reviews. “The Golden Boys,” which he wrote and directed, starring David Carradine, Rip Torn, Bruce Dern, Charles Durning and Mariel Hemingway, had a very successful release through Roadside Attractions and Lions Gate Films in 2009. His next film, which he wrote and directed, released in 2010 through New Films Cinema, was “The Lightkeepers” which starred Richard Dreyfuss and Blythe Danner. “The Lightkeepers” has been the recipient of many awards, including Best Musical Score for a Comedy in 2010 (Int’l Film Music Critics Assoc), Best Supporting Actor (Bruce Dern, Method Fest), and Best Film (“Golden Angel” award at the CAFF in Los Angeles). It was chosen as the closing night film at the Palm Springs International Film Festival and opening night film at the Boulder International Film Festival.

He directed and co-wrote (with legendary National Lampoon editor Larry “Ratso” Sloman) the satire, “An L.A. Minute” starring Gabriel Byrne, Kiersey Clemons, and Bob Balaban, which was originally released in theaters in August 2018 and is being re-released on VOD platforms on July 28, 2023. And he wrote the script for the feature film “Panama” starring Mel Gibson and Cole Hauser.

“The Walk” which he directed and co-wrote, starring Terrence Howard, Justin Chatwin, Malcolm McDowell, and Jeremy Piven, was released in theaters in June 2022, and won over 50 international film festival awards including “Best Picture” and “Best Director” and was chosen as the opening night film at both Dances with Films in Hollywood and the Boston Interna6onal Film Festival. Boston awarded the film both “Best Picture” and “Best Screenplay.”

In the fall of 2023, he will be direcing the film, “The Panic” from a script he wrote.

He is also currently wri6ng a biography of American patriot James O6s and developing the book into a limited series to be co-wriXen and produced by mul6-Emmy winner Jay Kogen.

 

 

Dion Labriola 

Originally from Akron, Ohio, Dion Labriola spent several years working as a DJ in the Chicago nightclub scene before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in production. Shortly after arriving in LA he started working as an editor on cable documentaries such as The Universe and Life After People. He continues to work as a freelance editor and animatorThe feature documentary Dear Ike: Lost Letters to a Teen Idol marked his debut as a director. The film premiered at DWF in September of 2021 and is now being distributed nationally through PBS SoCal.

 

 

 

Sean Perry 

Born and raised in western Pennsylvania, Sean worked construction for ten years in order to finance his increasingly ambitious independent films. With no film resources in the area, Sean had to learn all aspects of film production until he eventually moved to New York City to study acting at the Esper Studio. Now located in Los Angeles, Sean recently wrote/directed/edited/produced/DP’d/acted in the one-take feature film, DASH, which was picked up for distribution by XYZ Films.

 

 

 

 

Jo Rochelle 

Jo Rochelle is a Jamaican American TV writer and filmmaker, based in Los Angeles, originally from Minneapolis. Her work has screened at Dances with Films, Urbanworld, Atlanta Film Festival and BlackStar, among others. She has developed a family drama pilot at Netflix and is a writer for Freeform’s Good Trouble. 

 

 

Jacques Thelemaque

Jacques Thelemaque is a long-time filmmaking veteran, both as a multiple award-winning writer, producer, and director and as co-founder and president of the Los Angeles filmmaking support organization, Filmmakers Alliance. He launched FA Productions in 2004, was Chief Community Officer of Withoutabox.com in 2005 and held that same position in 2018 at ConsciousGood.com. Jacques was a programmer for the Los Angeles Film Festival from 2011 until it’s end in 2018 and has been an advisor, board member, programmer, juror or invited speaker at numerous film festivals and film-related events/organizations.
