BUDS, short for Ombudsman, is a half-hour workplace comedy about a group of unlikely advocates who spend their days fielding the complaints of senior citizens in long-term care facilities. Made up of mostly mediocre volunteers, the BUDS lack the authority (and the respect) of their rivals in the licensing division, but like security guards on a power trip, they tackle even trivial injustices with the utmost conviction.
